WELFARE SUPPORT
The global pandemic and rising daily living costs have resulted in increased financial hardship for many people, including those in Keighley and surrounding areas. However, some individuals and families face difficulties accessing welfare support due to a lack of understanding about the system, language barriers, or discrimination. STC's Welfare Support Project provides advocacy, advice, and information to help these vulnerable communities access social welfare programs and services. By bridging the gap and ensuring access to essential resources, STC is promoting safeguarding and improving the well-being of individuals and families, particularly for BAME groups, in Keighley.

In the heart of Keighley, the Cost of Living Crisis Project, by STC - Safeguarding Through Communities C.I.C., was a beacon of hope and support for those grappling with the escalating pressures of living costs. Recognising the urgent need for community aid, our project has delivered essential resources and guidance to alleviate financial burdens and enhance well-being.
With special thanks to all the volunteers, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Levelling Up Fund, Keighley Area Coordinators Office, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and everyone involved to make this special project a huge success.
